2026 High-Level Meeting of the Justice Action Coalition: Chair's Summary
The Annual Meeting of the Justice Action Coalition (JAC), convened on October 20, 2026, at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Istanbul Regional Hub and on the margins of the OECD Global Roundtable on access to justice, marked the first Annual Meeting of the Coalition's new operational phase (2026–2029).
Chaired by Adrian Di Giovanni, Team Leader, Economies & Justice at the International Development Research Centre, (IDRC), Canada; this meeting brought together member countries, partner organizations, and observers, in person and online, to take stock of the Coalition’s first year under its new structure, to agree on a shared roadmap towards the 2027 Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Summit and beyond, and to prepare the Coalition’s early engagement with the incoming Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN), in anticipation of discussions on the future of multilateralism and next global development framework.
