  • Justice

Organized by the United Nations Human Rights Office of the High Commissioner (OHCHR), Kingdom of the Netherlands, Costa Rica, Pathfinders for Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies, and the Justice Action Coalition.

⁉️ The discussion explored:

🧰 How courts are navigating AI-related disputes involving bias, privacy, judicial independence, and access to justice, while also grappling with the use of AI tools within justice institutions themselves.

⏺️ Key governance challenges around transparency, accountability, and the irreplaceability of the human judge, and called for stronger capacity building across the justice ecosystem on AI.

🔑 Ahead of the inaugural Global Dialogue on #AIGovernance happening July 2026 in Geneva, this is a timely discussion where speakers all emphasize the perspective that justice must be central to global AI governance.
