Expert-Level Meeting of the Global Alliance Against Inequality (March 2026)

Following the official launch of the Global Alliance Against Inequality (Global Alliance) at the 2025 Hamburg Sustainability Conference, the present expert-level meeting was convened to provide participating member states and partners with an opportunity to take stock of recent developments and key trends related to inequality, review the Alliance’s 2026–2027 workplan and working methods, and explore synergies with the International Panel on Inequality and other initiatives addressing inequality.

The insights emerging from the meeting are expected to inform the preparations for the next meeting of the Global Alliance, to be held during the forthcoming Hamburg Sustainability Conference on June 29-30, 2026.
