Workstream III: Communication, Narrative, and Connection to the SDGs

The Justice Action Coalition Workstream III on Communication, Narrative, and Connection to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was established with the objective of supporting a shared vision and coherent narrative around people-centered justice, supported by strategic communication and advocacy that connects people-centered justice to the Sustainable Development Agenda. It supports the Justice Action Coalition to speak with a collective voice, common ambition, and cohesive messages.

About the Workstream

Workstream III established a Communications Working Group in April 2024 to guide its activities. The working group serves two goals:

  • Refine key messages on people-centered justice using outputs from the other three JAC workstreams.
  • Coordinate messaging and collective communications strategies around key events

In Summer of 2025, the Working Group added to its mandate the goal of providing tools and resources to more effectively engage those outside of the justice sector with the justice movement.
