This 90-minute webinar builds on the research of the IIED, in partnership with Pathfinders. The event will launch the latest IIED research report on a people-centered approach to housing justice with a keynote presentation that draws on case studies from Brazil, the United States, and South Africa.

Following the presentation, a panel of experts in housing and justice sector reform will respond to the findings of the research and discuss their implications for the field at large.

Audience members will have an opportunity to ask questions of the presenters and the panelists at the end of the discussion.

This event will make links between the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 16.3 (access to justice), 11.1 (adequate, safe, and affordable housing), and 10.3 (equal opportunity and reduced inequalities of outcome), recognizing that reducing inequalities is essential to advancing both adequate housing and equal access to justice.
