On the sidelines of the 34th session of the United Nations Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, this side event aims to take stock of progress in achieving equal access to justice for all and to discuss further opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange on the evidence-base in this area. The following objectives will guide the event:
- Present the recommendations on the Expert Group Meeting on Equal Access to Justice for All, held in Brasilia, Brazil.
- Promote knowledge exchange on evidence-based experiences in advancing equal access to justice for all.
- Provide inputs on the preparation of the workshop 2 at the UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.
