Justice should be mainstreamed and prioritized across all of the Sustainable Development Goals (#SDGs) in order to support, uplift, amplify, and most importantly achieve the rest of the development agenda. The United Nations secretary-general has said, “Access to justice for all and effective, inclusive, and accountable institutions is a critical enabler for other SDGs.” To turn the SDGs from a vision to a tangible reality for people around the world, #justice should be a tool and a priority within and across the SDGs.
